Would be cool,but there's less players around in the community. So I'm assuming,definitely no. But I'd still want to know about some events mods might have planned,but possibly not created because of the site kind of dying. |

Statistically speaking, yes, there are events that are able to be properly scheduled and events that could be done in a proper manner. The main reason why there aren't any that have been done for quite a bit is due to the decline of users on the site as of late. Each contest would have to have over at least three entrants, due to the scoring system, (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place rankings) and as such, if only one or two people participate, those two people win by default, making the whole system rather shaky. There is also an issue in that, some artists don't wish to participate in particularly themed events; Sometimes, they may not be what they're interested, or it may not be something they are able to compete in, due to their skill level. We want every contest and event equally as entertaining and interesting with every entrant, and we want every entrant to have an equal chance when it comes to submissions. However, at this point in time, anything goes, and as such, if you feel as if a contest would be fitting for the time, I recommend that you come up with contest suggestions, as well as rules for said contest, and passing them onto the moderators, and I won't mind throwing in a good word for you. (: I cannot give a proper 'yes or no' answer, sadly, due to the state of things; there is no guarantee the proper requirements to host a contest will be met, which is why none have been done for quite some time. Regardless, I hope I provided some sort of insight for you, and I hope, for your sake, that contests get up and running again. (: I'd love to see what everyone could come up with together.
