Unfortunately, as much as I like the idea of making this, I have to agree with William that, unless RiceCake adds support for multiplayer map editing, this is to big of a project. Even then with the multiplayer support, you would have to have a lot of manpower, especially if you wanted all the worlds done in a reasonable timeframe. |

I'd be down for that collab idea, having different map creators here do worlds, or more specific sections of the worlds (I doubt that entire KH levels could be replicated without going overkill on performance--that would require many thousands of objects). Regardless, it would take quite some time. |

That's true and some of the worlds are overly detailed (updated Traverse Town from DDD is an example) and would be an absolute pain in the ass.. Entire world's would be rather difficult as would segments from certain world's too but I can't say for certain if that would take less or more time. I think the only world that wouldn't be as difficult would probably be Agrabah from the first one with the exception of the cave and area in which you fight Jafar most of it was sand brick and very very square.. If I remember correctly anyway but I could be wrong because all I know is map making is hard and tedious and I am never gonna try again. Someday we'll see a world or segment from the series maybe but not anytime soon..~ |
