Had a busy weekend, so I couldn't make Sunday's preview server. Shame, but not all too important. I'm starting work as we speak on finishing the outside. Just wanted to mention that I'll be adding in extra exteriour buildings inspired by the abandoned town outside Karanese District, as Trost just plain doesn't have all that much outside besides trees. I know this will break canon a little bit, but as I have no qualms about doing that for the sake of gameplay value, I'm doing it. Next update should be coming soon. Planning on getting a lot of work done this month as school begins to slow to an end.

Update: I'm nearly done extending the outside ground area enough so that players won't be able to see the ends when the boundaries are up. Then it's finishing the entire canal and finally the rest of the outside with buildings and trees. Work inside the district should begin soon.

Alright, updated to v1.2. Mostly another "art demo," but I'm skipping the HQ and starting work on filling the district itself. Because of this, I scrapped the planned outside part. It didn't look great anyway and I want to break canon as little as possible. In any case, the canal's finished, the outside ground is extended beyond the view range, and the outside wall details have been completed--I'll also be extending the walls soon, so there's that. Also found a ground texture that I like, so I've started to give a proper ground surface to the district. It's a gray variation of the grass skin, which gives that nice dirty city floor look I think. I'll be filling the district pretty much as soon as I finish typing this post (first the debris barricades, then making the new road piece around the breached gate, then the nearby buildings and I'll start working inwards).

Okay, the aesthetic wall extensions are finished (if I have to make one more wall segment for this map it will be one too many, good gods how tedious). Going to start incorporating my own take on Nokia's "Part of District Trost" thing into the northwest corner of the map, so by that time a fair portion of the city will have been filled. Finally making some decent progress on the damned thing this week. I should have a large update by the weekend in v1.3.

You're welcome to use the script in the OP to gauge the size of the map. Otherwise I can say that this map is 4x4 in size, instead of the default 1x1 map square. A bit of playable area outside that is also included.

Also, the second section is looking pretty boss. I'm pleased with myself on this one.
