The way I do blood is kind of dumb, and complicated. xP I'll be happy to give a brief synopsis, though. I use GIMP, so if you don't, I think it can at least help a bit. xP First, I choose a nice stencil, for my upper layer, smoke-- Spoiler: --And then I choose a nice red-- preferably for the middle layer, since I'll add highlights later-- Spoiler: --And then I begin to draw a bit. I like to spread it around a bit, and scatter it-- scattered if you want it to look like splattered blood, gathered in one if you want it to look like a wound. I take four layers, one for the skin, and three blank. I choose the middle one, and get to work. Spoiler: After that, I go to the third layer, and I add a dark undertone to it-- I like to do a dark purple for wounds, to emulate bruising. If it's a splatter, a dark brown will work. Spoiler: Then, I go to the third layer, and I change the transparency to about 40%, to make sure it's not too noticeable. Spoiler: Then I'll go to the first layer, and pick a brighter colour than the middle layer, for effects. Spoiler: Then I'll take that same stencil and use a harder brush, to put on the effects of the blood. Don't rub it around, just dab it, and it should be similar to this. Spoiler: After that, I blur it, and then I take the eraser tool, and I dab at the edges of all of the layers, giving it a rugged look. Spoiler: After that, it's all about knowing where to place it, what colours to use, and how to style it. ^^ I hope I helped in some way! If you need anything else, feel free to PM me, I would be more than happy to help, but I may respond slow, I'll try to help when I can. ^^ |

Intel wrote: How did you get the bandanna on? Im struggling to get it on. Help! Open the "Spoiler" thing under "Le linkiez" of either Normal or Bloodbathed version, and click on the second image (you'll know it's the right image if you're seeing a face mask, human skin and gloves :P) Click on it to enlarge the picture, then right click and select "Copy Image URL". Now go to your game and paste it under "Skin". Voila. Happy Tonton slaying, thanks for using my skin =D |
