Try https://tinypng.com/ It compresses your files without losing too much quality. Usually reduces the size by 50-60%

or lower the size of your pixels (instead of 512 x 512, try 400 x 400). But this will make your skin look worse. So try the first method first.

What file type are you saving the images as? If it's jpeg, change it to png. Or vice versa.
